What color backsplash and countertops to go with the oak?

11 year old kitchen. neutral walls with a little beige / peach. White tiles with swirls of light gray and dark peach in them. Could eventually replace them, but not now. Oak everywhere – cabinets and doors and windows. White appliances. Need to replace the damaged beige countertops and light Peachey terrible / pink color backsplash huge 6 "tiles. Also, what color the faux wood blinds oak would be better in the kitchen window cut? I'm thinking white.

With its white and the floors, I would go with a granite cream or top of quartz. (For example, granite Arabesque, sometimes called Santa Cecilia clear or white. Silestone Yukon White) Choose a stone that has a pattern tight, as the oak has a very open grain that looks great with stones of great movement. If your budget allows, you can take the stone all the way to their offices wall and full height backsplash. If not, look for tile stock in coordinating cream color. tin boxes accent very well and could bind complement in the gray of the floor tiles (and stainless steel appliances may want to bring up). Home Depot and Lowes both have nice selections. Good luck with your project.
