Ceramic tile in front of the sink laminate?
We have tile countertops in the kitchen obsolete current (4 "x 4" tiles). Yuck! We to redo the countertops with newly installed floors (ceramic tiles on the floor). A real estate man said he was going to make ceramic countertops instead of laminate. However, there is new laminate countertops that look like granite and scratches and stains. I would like the opinion of others on this topic. Which would you prefer if you buy a new home … nice laminate countertops and ceramic tile counter tops that match the kitchen floor? The house was built in 1970 and they are not putting a lot of money in the house. We just want to update it a bit, but just. Personally, I think the nice laminate countertops will better. My aunt and uncle they have in the kitchen is average and they look great. I do not like ceramic and grout that comes with it … It is difficult to clean. Many thanks for the help!
I've seen the laminate which is talking, and if you can afford it, I would. I'm not a big fan of ceramic countertops … if I was going to redo mine and did the laminate, which would make granite tiles in place. The most important thing to remember is to keep you in style with the rest of the kitchen.
